We decided it would be appropriate to celebrate Scott's 50th birthday in the 50th state - we stayed eight days at the Waldorf-Astoria's Grand Wailea. What a resort, this place has the ultimate pool complex (slides, lazy rivers, tarzan swing, sandy beach pool) for the kids and the ultimate spa for the adults. We had a ton of fun and a ton of sun. We are now on diets and a budget (we'll see how long they last - I'm sure Scott will blow the diet first, while I've already blown the budget).

Looks like so much fun...next time you want to stay in a Waldorf hotel...come to Waldorf Maryland :)

You have just made me extremely happy - a blog post! Thank you for the great pictures. I hope that at least 50% of you had a marvelous time at least 50% of the time. I think it was an awesome idea, I wish we could have been there!
